How do I get to Vero Beach, Florida ?
Vero Beach is known for its exclusive communities and quiet beaches along South Florida’s shoreline. Many refer to Vero Beach as an elegant hideaway or a small suburban beach town located between the three major Florida cities Orlando, Miami and Tampa.
Many residents and vacationers have the option to travel directly into the Vero Beach private airport or drive directly into Vero Beach from a major international airport. The four common airports used amongst local residents include the Vero Beach Regional Airport, Melbourne International Airport, Palm Beach International Airport and Orlando International Airport. Excluding the Vero Beach Regional Airport, the closest airport to Vero Beach is the Melbourne International Airport which is about a forty mile drive north of Vero Beach.
When driving to Vero Beach many either use the Florida Turnpike or Interstate I-95 Highway to access State Road 60 into Vero Beach. If you are traveling from the Florida turnpike you will use Exit 193-Yeehaw Junction to get onto State Road 60, from there drive about thirty miles East until accessing Vero Beach. Meanwhile, travelers that are coming using I-95 Highway will travel on the highway until using Exit 147 to access State Road 60 directly into Vero Beach, Florida.
